Subscribe to new threads only

Hello,
it would so cool if i could subscribe to all new threads of a forum. This way i want to get notified about threads being started only. This subscription should not include answers to existing posts like the existing subscription feature already does.
Subscribe per mail or RSS would be awesome.
Maybe an option in the personal settings if a subscription of a forum is for new threads or all kind of posts only would be sufficient.

I am just dreaming. Maybe…

Try to subscribe to the current forum on the forum page (at the bottom right of the list of topics, the "Subscribe to this forum" link).

Does this give only new threads? In past it was all new posts incl. answers to old threads.

Subscribing to forums should only report new topics in those forums, and subscribing to topics should only report posts in those topics.

Thanks. So this is only for the mail subscription. My confusion was because the RSS feed of a forum shows the last post of a thread only.
