Re: [MOD] Upload Mod - 3.0.3

For the configuration of the plugin, what is the meaning of "For the picture in weight it is more" xx Bytes

84c6cce45b25eedb64725ed5ff1cc589.png
If the image is uploaded and its size is more than 300 KB, then it will be resized with a quality of 75% and a size of no more than 1920 * 1200 pixels.

Re: [MOD] Upload Mod - 3.0.3

On the server where I installed your mod I had to comment the .htaccess CGI

 #<IfModule mod_cgi.c>
# Options -ExecCGI
#</IfModule>
#<IfModule mod_cgid.c>
# Options -ExecCGI
#</IfModule>
#<IfModule mod_fcgid.c>
# Options -ExecCGI
#</IfModule>

otherway the pictures where not displayed on the forum.
In your opinion, does this cause a security breach or is it fine?

Nothing wrong.
.htaccess has several levels of protection and when upload the contents of the file are checked.

Re: [MOD] Upload Mod - 3.0.3

It's a great mod !
I installed V3.0.1
But I cannot change the max file upload to anything bigger than 2Mb
My server is 64bit and I edited AP_upload.php to use BIGINT(15)
But it still does not save the larger file size.
Any ideas?

Re: [MOD] Upload Mod - 3.0.3

No need to edit the database structure.
You need to edit the settings in the php.ini file and restart php.

Note: Related Configurations Note
See also the file_uploads, upload_max_filesize, upload_tmp_dir, post_max_size and max_input_time directives in php.ini

Re: [MOD] Upload Mod - 3.0.3

Naive question from a newbie about to install my first Mod.

Step #1 in the final part of the readme.txt file in v3.0.1 does not mention what you should do with the "js" folder! Assume I should copy that folder/file to the forum root?

I don't have an the menu option:
Administration - Plugins menu - Upload
Can I assume that simply copying all the folders/files and additional actions specified in Steps 1-9 will produce that menu option?

Yes, my mistake.

Yes (forum administrator will see this item).

Re: [MOD] Upload Mod - 3.0.3

I guess it had to work like that so went ahead with the install. Very impressed!

However, I have made two changes to my copy of the English language file, which you might want to consider for the next update.

'info_4'						=> 'Storage space used: <span>%s</span> of %s allowed.',
'for pictures' => 'For files greater than',

There may be more to come. I'm still exploring all the facilities of FluxBB in general!

Re: [MOD] Upload Mod - 3.0.3

Here is my french translation of your mod

e9230e30ece5e4b4b2d61b07331c6017.jpg
830aeb30956e5f65bc8c0e1f355d1b2a.jpg

I had to change the top button of admin section ( wich was labelled as the other "update") which could let think it would apply the change but it was for reseting to default values.

Thanks for your work
