SMTP issue.

I have no luck settings up SMTP with FluxBB 1.5.9, i have now tried to use encryption, but it dosent connect.
The link i have given FluxBB is: send.one.com

but should i use smtp://send.one.com or send.one.com:465 ?
I've noticed that if a profil refer to a website they need to use http:// infront of the website.

I have success setting up a mail that is based on the website...

Re: SMTP issue.

It appears they use shared hosting. I'd have to look at what I used on lunarpages.

If you follow this guide from their website: https://www.one.com/en/support/guide/ma … tlook-2010 I think those are the configuration settings you'll want. Also note it seems to require SSL (not just username/pass.)

Seems to be lots of issues with one.com's firewall. You may need to use port 2525 or port 597.

Re: SMTP issue.

How can i change the limits of the overflood request of forgotten password? (Right now i can only request 1 time per hour per ip)

Im able to set the mail i've created up on my iphone with no issues... also checking its inbox and e-mail it works...

Which forgotten password? Forum or one.com mail? If it's related to the one.com smtp you'd have to check in with them.

Re: SMTP issue.

The forum. If you on the fluxbb forum (Own hosted, not fluxbb.org) request a password reset, then you are only allowed to do this once per hour on same IP.

Oh that's part of some of the core files I'd imagine. I don't really have access to that right now. Sorry.

Re: SMTP issue.

Had the same issue. Default FluxBB would not work with gmail's SMTP.

So I switched to PHPMailer, and just put the PHPMailer code in `pun_mail` (include/email.php), and it now works flawlessly
