Re: FluxBB 1.5.10 released
Hey I can't work out how to subscribe to that security mailing list. I see nothing about that on my site's user profile.
Anyone know how?

Re: FluxBB 1.5.10 released
Hii all, can I upgrade directly from 1.4.9 to 1.5.10 without risks ?
(Of course I will try to do it first locally in a backup version, as I'll have to add our customizations, but I would know if it is possible or if I had to go in two steps, first to 1.5.beta or 1.5.10)
Yes, I still run the 1.4.9 version because of the ranks, but we have got more and more errors ("An error was encountered - Error: Unable to fetch search index word match.) especially after deletion, modification or merge of posts, with bad "side effects" in the index (merged/deleted post still seen - but does not exist, or new post not seen), and rebuilding the index does not change anything.

"Without risks"? No. Please always take a backup first.
Going step by step, or at least taking smaller steps (e.g. from 1.5.3 to 1.5.5, then to 1.5.7 and so on) might ease the process.

Thanks for the answer, my formulation was awful! Yes, whatever my try will be, I first will do a backup (and even try in a local version).
My question was more "is it supposed to be possible or not?".
If yes, I can try locally. If not, how can I be sure that two versions in the same upgrade should work? If not sure, then the only sure path is to do step by step. 1.4.9 to 1.5.10 is a jump of 16 versions (or so ). If I try to upgrade by 2 versions then 2 versions, and if the 8th upgrade fails, I only will win the right to try again from the beginning
(or to make a new backup after each upgrade).
( btw, I think that the previous post is a spam )

Potentially, but there are no links or spam content so no need to investigate further at this stage.
