FluxBB 1.5.2 released
Today we are releasing FluxBB v1.5.2.
This release fixes some small issues, one of which caused very annoying XML parsing errors when modifications were installed or custom integrations were in place.
I want to apologize for the mess and promise that we will take more time for testing changes like the one that caused this problem in the future - for example here on our very own forums.
So, for everyone who is currently running v1.5.1, we definitely recommend upgrading!
Besides this bugfix, we also took the time to implement another measure against spam: all user-submitted links are now marked as "nofollow" links, which tell search engines to ignore these links when calculating relevance. This should hopefully take away one of the main incentives for spammers to post links.
Other relevant changes in this version:
For all changes in detail, take a look at the changelog.
As always, you can download this release on our download page.
Changed files and patches are also available on the upgrade page.
A big thank you to everyone who contributed to this release, namely adaur, JohnLewis, Koos, quy, Studio384 and Visman. Cheers!
It is recommended to do a backup of both your files and database before upgrading!
As always, please report any bugs you may encounter.
Last but not least, the obligatory v2.0 status update: after a nice developer meeting, we are currently working on the new and improved admin panel. Beware of screenshots!

Yay, and to mention it: language packs that works for FluxBB v1.5.1 are 100% compatible with v1.5.2.

Re: FluxBB 1.5.2 released
If you chose to manually update from a previous version and you click on the changeset, you go to that page but the page is empty.
I want to update from 1.5.1 but I don't want to lose all my installed mods so I'm going to upgrade manually.

Re: FluxBB 1.5.2 released
How does one upgrade?? Like others, the changeset option is blank for me.
I have made some custom changes to my forum that I would like to keep.

Re: FluxBB 1.5.2 released
When will the changeset be fixed?
The changeset on GitHub, is it correct that if you change all of the 81 files you are running the new version 1.5.2?
Or do I have to do something else?

Yes, that should work, too. You can even append ".patch" or ".diff" to the URL to get the corresponding file format.
When you overwrite your files with the changed ones and then visit your forum, you will be asked to update your database.

Can you give an example because I don't fully understand what you're saying.
