Re: A new future for FluxBB 2.0
Hi, according to W3tech stats [1] php 5.2 accounts for HALF the php installations.
Isn't going with 5.3+ a little ballsy? Am I missing something?

If FluxBB 2 is available as final, PHP 5.3 will have overtaken 5.2 for a while, we have just launched 2.0a1, there are 4 more alphas to come, for now 1 planned beta, but I think there will be more betas then 1 and then maybe 2 RCs. Count between every release at least 2 months (and that's verry optimistic for FluxBB).

Hi,
« 20-Dec-2012
The PHP development team announces the immediate availability of PHP 5.4.10 and PHP 5.3.20. These releases fix about 15 bugs. Please note that the PHP 5.3 series will enter an end of life cycle and receive only critical fixes as of March 2013. All users of PHP are encouraged to upgrade to PHP 5.4. »
