New Developers
Hello,
I would like to introduce two new developers, Me (JohnLewis) and Studio384. We will be working on the 2.0 release which has had a few different turns and framework moves.
Here is a brief introduction from me: I am John. My full name is John Lewis (I have a middle name, but I prefer first and last). I have done other development for existing forum software. There is not much more to say except, I aim to make an impact on FluxBB!
And Studio384 said: Well, to start, I'm developer of Studio384, and more important the Dutch FluxBB Community, I live in Belgium, Limburg, Bree for the ones who want to know. And it seems I'm now a developer at FluxBB. Also I created the Dutch translation of FluxBB 1.4.8 and higher.
We hope to enjoy our development stay at FluxBB and to contribute to its for see-able future!

It really can not more overpriced than Free. Apart from us paying you to use it, And I doubt that will happen.
Thanks for the welcome from you and all of the above. I am also guessing this Thanks is on behalf of Studio384 too, Unless he wants to do it.

Re: New Developers
Please make the forum index cached with forum names/etc. So we can utilize less queries to select each forum name, we only would need to select last_poster/etc for dynamic content. Please work on something like this.
No point in moving to a new "v2.0", still need to optimize fluxbb v1.. many ways to improve performance...
I will play around with the cache.php file where it creates the dropdown lists to spit out each forum category/lists, so maybe that is a good place to start, pretty much just need to put those into a array and condone it with a mysql so we can remove selecting the forum name/description from the query for optimal performance.

Re: New Developers
welcome to the team! Hope you have awesome stuff in store for us! and if you don't mind could you make the emails people get from the site a little more pleasing to the eye when you get time. Why are the formats always so simple and crappy looking..
PS! WELCOME TO THE TEAM!
