FluxBB 1.5-beta released

So, it seems version 1.4.9 is ready for launch, when will version 1.5.0 be ready? And when they are available to download?

Just to weigh in, we were considering releasing this as 1.4.10, but as it was adding new features we went with 1.5.0 - the version numbering is meant to be major.feature.bug.

1.5.x will now be considered the stable branch, and 2.x will continue to be developed. I personally think we should backport security fixes from 1.5.x to 1.4.x, but other than that I would suggest 1.4 should not be developed.

So, there won't come a version 1.4.10? It's not I use v1.4 still, but, version 1.2 was supported to after the release of FluxBB v1.4.

1.2 was supported with security fixes but that was all. Though that was just my personal preference above, not necessarily what will happen.

As I already mentioned to Franz earlier, it would also have my preference to continue development on the 1.5 branch as a successor to 1.4, if the community embraces the anti-spam improvements (which I tend to think so?).
