Alright so i was determined to get a picture as my rank!
Haha so i rigged up my forum title as the picture's location such as: admin.jpg is what i will now type in for the title instead of admin

Okay so here is how you do it.

Open Viewtopic.php in the public html folder.

Find:

<?php echo $user_title ?>

Now then make that into these simple modifications or replace it w/e you want:

<?php echo '<img src="http://yourwebsite.com/images/'.$user_title.'">

Now NOTICE you must replace yourwebsite.com with yourwebsite URL.... Lol okay and dont forget to replace the /images directory with the one you plan on to put all the pictures of the ranks in and if you do replace the images directory make sure you have the directory made that your saying you do say you change images to /ranks and you dont got that directory well it wont work lol..

Go to the directory where you plan to put the ranks and right click on it CHMOD it to 777 so it works right.

Now after its all replaced etc.. etc.. save and exit now that was a easy modification ey?

Now here comes the rigged up part lol go into your administrator panel on your FluxBB board and go into User Groups now listen close.

Once your in the user group leave the Group title alone just edit the User Title to what the image is loaded up as in your directory.

Say your image is admin.jpg

write in the User Title area admin.jpg then press save and go check it out!

NOTE: Remember this modification towards the ranks is only used for ranks like admin, mod, other special ranks. Its not for just regular ranks. Although im about to make one for regular.

Things i plan to try to fix on it, although i have no idea what im doing in PHP very well but im managing hah =]

Things to do
1. User list ( title shows up as location [[ image.jpg ]] )
2. I'd like to be able to add a uploader into the admin panel just for the directory you choose.
3. Make all ranks images not just special ones like admin , etc..
4. Make multiple rank options.

Well before i get too far ahead of my self i might need your guy's help. So if im having trouble ill need some help.

You can more easily achieve the same result by altering the admin/mod titles in the langfile, and placing the image link there. Your method above will throw a wobbler where no image is specified.

Someone who read my dreams? Well, maybe exaggerating but I really want ranks as titles. But I won't do anything 'til there is a clearly stated way of not just changing user group specific ranks but your own as well. ^^
It would ofc be nice to type in HTML code in the rank-thing in admin panel, but I am sorry to have to say this to you all: I am not God.

Well i do not know PHP very well i was just trying to get some type of way to have a rank as an image.

So i succeeded in doing so by rigging it all up haha.
But im sure there will be a better way eventually.

i figured out if you set the ranks as image.jpg or w/e instead of Member it will also grab the image from the directory so you can do special group ranks, and ranks with this =] its not the best way but it does work.

I got a simpler solution

You have to upload 1.png to /img/groups/ for admin image and you're done
