Re: Welcome to our new website :)
The site integration only works for Air (if you switch to another style, the top bar, etc disappear)

Re: Welcome to our new website :)
This is really a personal preference thing, but I feel like the forum shouldn't be more than one click away from any other page of the site. Having to dig through Community to find a link feels awkward, especially since FluxBB IS forum software,

There is actually space for another link on the main menu. The space was reserved for country flags or something similar. The easy solution is you make a different coloured bar above the main menu which is used for login and language selection. That gives you a bit more room on main nav and makes it look less cluttered.
The only thing worse than finding a bug is knowing I created it in the first place.

You definitely got my vote. Wanted something similar to that for a long time

Re: Welcome to our new website :)
You have the link in the footer, which isn't always as far down as on the forum pages.
It's below the fold on my browser in most pages. My screen also has more vertical space than the average user. Take a look at http://browsersize.googlelabs.com/ to see what I mean.
I think Paul's idea makes a lot of sense.
Also, when I first tried logging in via the new form, it didn't accept my username/password until I logged in via the forum. Password conversion needed?

It only seems to happen when no results are found. Something not being globalized for the message function?

Re: Welcome to our new website :)
Yeah, you're right, Smartys.
I've known this problem for a long time, but didn't find a solution, because it was rather complicated (nested functions or something similar, I believe). And then I forgot...

Re: Welcome to our new website :)
Aha, exactly why I learned to love object-oriented programming and hate globals :-P
Could you re-include the language files within the message function? (if those are what bring in the missing variables)

Re: Welcome to our new website :)
Yeah, the forum integration is a bit broken at the moment. No clue, why, but we're working on it. When fixed, it is the same width as the content of other pages...

Re: Welcome to our new website :)
Congrats and loving the new site.
Are you going to leave all the under-construction pages? or hide them until they get filled.
I will have a play this morning and post later with feedback on the new site.
Some developers have known for a while that I have taken over PunBB Resource from Jansson and have currently been working on the rebuild. Well the new version actually supports FluxBB 1.2 and 1.4.
Any chance I can work with FluxBB to build some sort of API/interface so that I can grab resource (styles, mods, plugins) information to pull back to my site for 1.4?

I think so. I hope we can finish them pretty quickly.

If you can come up with suggestions, I'm sure we can talk about it.

Re: Welcome to our new website :)
I would be inclined to say yes to an API, the more we can get people involved the better. It may however have to wait until we have the site totally finished, and 1.4.0 released fully.

I also see an improvement, but I'm not sure how much is due to changing to a slightly more powerful server and Lighttpd, and how much is due to the the new server being in Europe. Do any Americans notice a difference, and if so is it good or bad?
