Hi there,

I'm testing Visman's version on my site and found that when I upload files in post,
it returned this error

Any help will be appreciated. Thanks a lot.

Re: Can't upload files in post (Visman's version)

There is a possibility that the user under which the php script is running does not have permission to create/write folders/files inside the img/members/ folder.
You need to configure the permissions for this folder.

Thank you for the reply.
I can upload the image now. However, it doesn't really work...

Re: Can't upload files in post (Visman's version)

Open the img/members/.htaccess file on the server for editing.
1. Comment out the first section:

# ----------------------------------------------------------------------
# Disable directory listing.
#-----------------------------------------------------------------------

<IfModule mod_autoindex.c>
    Options -Indexes
</IfModule>

replace to

# ----------------------------------------------------------------------
# Disable directory listing.
#-----------------------------------------------------------------------
#
#<IfModule mod_autoindex.c>
#    Options -Indexes
#</IfModule>

2. Save the file.
3. Refresh the picture page.
4. If the picture is displayed, then everything is ok. If not, then:
5. Remove the changes made in paragraph 1.
6. Repeat steps 1-4(5) for the second, third, fourth and fifth sections from the img/members/.htaccess file.

Re: Can't upload files in post (Visman's version)

Hi, I repeated 3 times and still didn't get it to work.
By the way, I would like to know if the Upload Mod allows me to upload files in other formats?
I defined "mp4" and "pdf" in the settings, but haven't tried it out.

Thanks a lot! smile

Hi, I repeated 3 times and still didn't get it to work.

You can delete the img/members/.htaccess file. But it is better to ask your host what commands he forbade to the .htaccess file, this file is a server error.

Yes. In the plugin settings in the admin panel, you can make changes to the list of formats.
