Can you tell one more thing ? I want to make banner clickable (when you click on banner image, you must go to some url, for example to a main forum page)

How can I do it ?

Open: style/Victory/main.tpl

Find: (line 22)

			<header>
				<nav class="primary" id="navPrimary">
					<pun_title>
					<pun_desc>
				</nav>
			</header>

Change To:

			<header>
				<a href="index.php"><nav class="primary" id="navPrimary">
					<pun_title>
					<pun_desc>
				</nav></a>
			</header>

That's the easiest way smile

Any news about the "captcha" thing? it would be great to add this feature to this GREAT style!

What captcha thing? I've glanced through the topic and can't find this mentioned. Where do you want to add captcha?

Re: Victory - Responsive FluxBB Skin (Based on Air) [v1.0.1]

Honestly, I think this should be the default theme for 2.0. A perfect balance between modernity (mobile/flexibility) and "good old flux style" ! Definitely a step ahead of the other forums around. No plugin and other stuff needed: just a few kbs!

+1 !

I know this is a silly question but I haven't been playing with Flux for awhile. How/where do I add the banner?

Can you post the link to your forum? That might help us find the problem...

Re: Victory - Responsive FluxBB Skin (Based on Air) [v1.0.1]

Can anyone provide a link to a site that uses this style? The OP's link doesn't work.

...and a link to the Victory style, too, if someone is using it.

Thanks.

Thank you for the link but I actually want to see a demo of the styles. Sorry if I wasn't clear.

Could someone send me a link to a site that uses the Victory style?

Couldn't you just download the style and install it?

Re: Victory - Responsive FluxBB Skin (Based on Air) [v1.0.1]

Users need to choose to use that style in their profile (under "Display"). Only new users will automatically get that style automatically.

If I remember correctly, you can use this plugin to change all users' settings at once.

And just like that, Victory is yours. smile

Good job, but I see that the validator spits out some errors.
You have HTML5 tags and the doctype in HTML 1.0 smile

Re: Victory - Responsive FluxBB Skin (Based on Air) [v1.0.1]

I really like the skin. Should be default of FluxBB.
I'm having some issues regarding the ajax shoutbox and SCEditor.
The shoutbox won't work with Victory and the SCEditor-toolbars look isn't ok.
I tried to compare the Air and Victory mainpage. No scripts or css are missing.
So what could be the problem?

Re: Victory - Responsive FluxBB Skin (Based on Air) [v1.0.1]

The SCEditor problem is regarding to the "* { box-style..... }" in the Victory CSS.
I tried to change the css of the SCEditor but this doesn't work.
Can someone maybe help what would be the best workaround?

Re: Victory - Responsive FluxBB Skin (Based on Air) [v1.0.1]

I don't have any problems with SCEditor with this theme but acknowledge the problem with the shoutbox.
Somehow the shoutbox/ajaxchat doesn't recognize the login of the user...or it doesn't passes it through properly.
Would like to know also how to fix that.

Re: Victory - Responsive FluxBB Skin (Based on Air) [v1.0.1]

I tried this today and I really like it.

I especially like how the tab menus transform into drop down menus, very clean, in fact I think this should be the default behavior for any menu of that kind.

Another thing I like is the avatars getting stacked between the posts. I always assumed this to be a question of taste, but now I can see it being more suited to a responsive environment.

Have any boards ever attempted to break text into multiple columns on wide screens? (magazine approach) I think that might help with readability (though might be make display of images a bit counter intuitive perhaps). I believe I saw a Vanilla board do that once, but I'm not sure.

Re: Victory - Responsive FluxBB Skin (Based on Air) [v1.0.1]

I just tested this with v1.5.6 on both desktop and mobile and I am stunned, it's wonderful. I have two questions. First, as a user; would it be possible to tone the it down to something more like the Cobalt style in order to save on both my eyes and battery life? Second, as someone who is new to web development and forum management; you mentiond a honeypot; I've tried to decipher the code in some of the other mods (to deture bot registration) with little luck. How did you set yours up?

Yes, both style files are found @ style/style.css (where style.css is the name of the file). You could change some of the info from the cobalt to the victory, but it would be very tedious indeed.

Who were you talking to there?
