Re: Welcome to our new website :)
I would be inclined to say yes to an API, the more we can get people involved the better. It may however have to wait until we have the site totally finished, and 1.4.0 released fully.
Yeah, I've been thinking about that, too. That would e.g. allow for a plugin downloader plugin

Re: Welcome to our new website :)
I also see an improvement, but I'm not sure how much is due to changing to a slightly more powerful server and Lighttpd, and how much is due to the the new server being in Europe.
FluxBB.de is running on a quite good root server with Apache2 serving the content (APC is also installed) and it's not as far as quick as your VPS. If this is not lighttpd, I must have misconfigured something.

Wow, the page load time on the new server is amazing!
Either you're right or the server load code doesn't work:

Re: Welcome to our new website :)
Congratulations !!!
The new website is awesome !
You guys are the best !
although, as some said I also think the forum width can be slightly wider.
Now, when the final 1.4 released I will open the Israeli support website.

You have some unencoded ampersands in the Announcements Feed in the footer.

Re: Welcome to our new website :)
Could do with a slight alteration to the wording on the index/portal page.
Be warned it is not fully complete, so if you find any bugs please let us know! Also if you have any suggestions we'd love to hear them too.

Re: Welcome to our new website :)
What are you like. You're clinging on to the 'fully'. Complete and incomplete are two separate and distinct states. It's either complete or it's incomplete, but you can't have either in a partial state. It's simply one or the other.

Re: Welcome to our new website :)
That's gone, together with Trac.
First, we're moving to Git (ok, there's a plugin), but integration was a real pain in the you-know-what (Trac is written in Python), so that we decided to... well, just wait a few days or weeks

Re: Welcome to our new website :)
Currently we don't have a SVN set up anywhere for FluxBB. I aim to try and convert it to Git and import it on Gitorious by the end of the week though, so after that's done, here. The only thing missing from Gitorious is a bug tracker, which we will deal with at a later date.

Re: Welcome to our new website :)
Hi. First impressions:
Works fast
Looks good
Good looking new theme for FluxBB 1.4
Width is maybe too small. But i will probably get use to it quickly (in a few days)
Maybe if short list of active topics would be displayed somewhere. That would be good?
Otherwise great job and i like new website!

Just wanted to say congratulations on the new site, I really like the design.
And congrats to the release of 1.4 as well ("Hell, it's about time" to quote the SC2 anouncement )!

Re: Welcome to our new website :)
Actually it's only 1.4-RC3 that is out at the moment Final wont take long now though, and having 1.4-RC3 running on these boards will definitely speed up testing.

Oh, yeah, you are right. Damn. Was a little over-excited there...
Anyway, at least the "new site" point stays valid.
