Avatar Resizing

I suggest when an avatar is uploaded if it is to big it is automatically resized.

Yes I know this could be done with extensions, but tbh I think its a feature most people would want and its just useful.

It would require GD which not all web servers have installed, though I guess it could just check for GD first. Another problem though would be animated GIFs, also in theory JPG's would lose some quality when it re-compresses them.

I guess he means the filesize/size limit, set in the ACP.

Croping, resizing, compressing, all very useful because most people have trouble doing it. But it's better suited as an extension, yup.
