Two enhancements should be made:
- don't color visited links differently
- if any, use an icon after the link for external links, not before

What about media links - example (Git Cheat Sheet link). Should they have icon after the link?

I don't really care, to be honest - as long as they're not in front of the links.
Either nothing, or a simple standard icon (e.g. the one Wikipedia uses in the reference section) should do the trick.

I changed the icon to the one that wikipedia uses and fixed visited links color, but I'm not sure what icon should be for media links.
