It shouldn't be possible to downgrade the first user's account.

I agree, however, it still should be possible to give this status to another account, for example, when a forum is given to a different person. If that happens, the person with this account should give permission (with a link in an email for example) to give this right to another account.

Giving a forum to another happens, ok. But WHY giving ALSO my own admin account ?
The case u cited, Studio, is unlikely to happen : in real life, u give the keys BUT still have ur admin access. And don't want it to be rewoked.

That's the thing I just want to avoide: give the rights to someone else, not the account itselfs, maybe a little bit bade explained.

Personally, I think that even the "root" user should still be demotable. The only thing that should really matter is that there is at least 1 administrator at any time. As Franz said in the topic, you have to be able to trust your co-admins. And even if they pull a stunt, the root user should still be the one having access to the actual user database, thus having an easy way to promote himself to admin again from the inside out.

I don't see the point of such an account. I agree with Oldskoool: as long as we have one admin, we should be fine.

- Milestone 1.6 removed.
