Ticket #638 (fixed enhancement)

Add rel=prev and rel=next to flubb 1.4

  • Created: 2012-03-03 17:35:10
  • Reported by: Insert Name Here
  • Assigned to: Franz
  • Milestone: 1.4.9
  • Component: templates
  • Priority: normal

Since google (http://googlewebmastercentral.blogspot. … lprev.html) and opera (http://stackoverflow.com/questions/8551 … f-pages-so) (and probably others as well) use rel=prev and rel=next to make sense of pagination, I thought that it would be a good idea to add rel=prev and rel=next to fluxbb.

Ah, the timeline shows it was you.

Thanks a lot for contributing!

I also wonder whether we really had to do this, as we already include the references in the <head> section, at least since we implemented #175 in v1.4.4.

It was dropped with #464 in 1.4.6.

In rereading the linked article in #464, prev and next should have not been dropped.

yeah, that was me. It was my first pull request, so I'm glad nothing went wrong smile
