Ticket #527 (fixed bug)

Collation for the table column

  • Created: 2011-11-02 10:33:15
  • Reported by: daris
  • Assigned to: Franz
  • Milestone: 2.0-alpha1
  • Component: database
  • Priority: normal

There is no way to set the collation for the column. It's needed for the search_words table
(before was 'collation' => 'bin')

  • Status changed from open to fixed.

Implemented in database/ea38a16.

Is this sufficient?

I mean collation for column, don't know why it is needed, but in 1.4 it was:

	$schema = array(
		'FIELDS'		=> array(
			'id'			=> array(
				'datatype'		=> 'SERIAL',
				'allow_null'	=> false
			),
			'word'			=> array(
				'datatype'		=> 'VARCHAR(20)',
				'allow_null'	=> false,
				'default'		=> '\'\'',
				'collation'		=> 'bin'
			)
		),
		'PRIMARY KEY'	=> array('word'),
		'INDEXES'		=> array(
			'id_idx'	=> array('id')
		)
	);

Whoops, too bad.

Fixed now, in database/01afb7e.
