Version 1.2 is the latest stable version of FluxBB, it is a direct continuation of PunBB (i.e. FluxBB 1.2.18 is a direct update from PunBB 1.2.17). All PunBB 1.2 modifications and styles should work with FluxBB 1.2.
Version 1.3 is the latest development release of FluxBB, it currently is a beta release in the true sense of the term. It is still under development and will almost certainly still have some bugs. There may be substantial changes to both code and markup prior to final release. We would suggest that you consider very carefully before deploying it in a production environment. Please note that 1.2 extensions and styles will not work on 1.3.
