After successfully installing FluxBB 1.3 you can continue with the following steps
Head to the Administration-page for forum options. 5 categories and multiple subcategories each split the options up on several pages
The Start-page contains information about your forum, database and system.
Create, edit, delete and reorder categories.
Add new forums to categories, edit, reorder or delete them.
The Settings-page lets you change basic options like title and description of your forum, its timezone and default style, the URL scheme, and more default options.
Enable or disable features like searching, censoring, quickjump, online list and specifiy limits of posts, signatures and avatars
There is a dependency with “User post count” and “User info in posts” options. For “User post count” to display, “User info in posts” need to be checked. Otherwise, if you check only “User post count” and uncheck “User info in posts”, then “User post count” will not be displayed.

Create/delete new user groups and edit their permissions.
Create, edit or delete user ranks (titles)

Rebuild the search index (not with Fulltext Extension) to remove problems and restore the performance
Enable/disable maintenance mode (only admins can enter the forum) and enter a message which is displayed to all users during this time
Uninstall or disable/enable installed extensions
Install new extensions (files of the extension have to be in the /extensions/ folder first)
Read more about Customization in form of styles, extensions etc.
