I don't see any problems. I 'm sure no one of the devs teem or the other experienced user will refuse hints, solutions or what it's necessary.

All I wanted was something like: "We'll support it for no longer than 1 year after 1.3 is final unless major security flaws are found." I wasn't expecting silly fights at all.

even if fluxbb is based on punbb . it has a whole new name and most of the people will not recognize it in future that it was a punbb. because it dosent have any thing in common. like extension vs mods or current styles vs old ones .. completely different stuff with a completely different name.
In case you was born after the fork, I inform you that FluxBB 1.3 with all the one-click extensions etc. was developed under the PunBB umbrella for, like, 2 years before the fork, wasn’t it? Ideology is the same, core developers are the same, same dame thing. The only reason there is a fork, a new name, and confused individuals such as yourself — poor marketing desisions on part of the buyers of PunBB and, mayhaps, lapse of judgement made by Rickard and friends.
V. 1.2 shall power tens of thousands of forums for at least couple more years, and if there would be no other reson to support it but to change PunBB link to FluxBB in the footer, that would be as good a reason as any.
P. S. And cut down on overquoting already.
