Re: Honeypot + StopForumSpam Mod 1.0.1

Hi !

Should work ... SpamBarrier (based on Honeypot + StopForumSpam) works for sure with 1.5.2 ...
The only modifications I made to SpamBarrier to work with 1.5.1/1.5.2 are about login filtering.

Re: Honeypot + StopForumSpam Mod 1.0.1

Does the current version of this mod work with the latest 1.5.3 version of FluxBB?
Great mod, thanks for this.

Re: Honeypot + StopForumSpam Mod 1.0.1

I installed this on 1.5.3 and when I try to register a user, I get a "'Username' is a required field in this form" popup.

Re: Honeypot + StopForumSpam Mod 1.0.1

I'm currently running this mod on v1.5.1 and heavily relying on it to protect against hundreds of spam registration per day.

I must upgrade to the latest v1.5.8. Is this mod compatible with it?

If not, any chance for an update?

Re: Honeypot + StopForumSpam Mod 1.0.1

We're still using this modification over on ThinkClassic (FluxBB 1.5.8) without any issues.

We've made some alterations to it to allow it to take advantage of the 1.5.8 anti-spam hooks and allow administrators to temporarily generate exceptions for email addresses to allow users that have been falsely flagged by SFS to register. However it doesn't allow admins or moderators to report users to the SFS database (we haven't updated that code), so if that feature is still important, use Koos' 1.0.1 version.

Our version of this modification is available from this post.
