Re: [MOD] Avatar choice

I saw this set : http://deleket.deviantart.com/art/Face- … -107881096
Just asked deleket (the author of this set) for use permission, here's th answer:

deleket wrote:

You may use the icons and my other artworks for FREE for personal and non-commercial purposes. If you can link me back please use www.jojomendoza.com and my twitter handle @hopstarter.

If you need them for commercial use, we will require a small license fee of 2USD each icon, or a certain price for a whole pack. In return we will provide copies of the source files in editable and scalable format (Adobe Illustrator) and we will release a document that will give you perpetual rights to use and modify the icons in any of your projects, royalty-free.

Thank you very much.

I realise that he draw other cool (in my opinion) avatars: http://deleket.deviantart.com/

Re: [MOD] Avatar choice

There is also another one in plugins/avatarc/avatarc_main.php for the user's profile and

$folder = $_POST['folder'];

in AP_avatar_choice.php.

$avatar = $_POST['avatar'];

Just thought you'd want to be aware of those ones as well smile

Yes I saw them. Thanks for your vigilance (is that the correct word? I'm not sure...). smile

Line 30: plugins/avatarc/avatarc_main.php:

list ($with, $height, $type) = @getimagesize($_POST['avatar']);

Shouldn't it be:

list ($width, $height, $type) = @getimagesize($_POST['avatar']);

?

Line 5 plugins/avatarc/avatarc_default_avatar.php

function generate_default_avatar_markup()

Should be:

function generate_default_avatar_markup($pun_config)

Re: [MOD] Avatar choice

I don't agree on with the "don't use globals" statement, when applied to those variables that are indeed meant to be globals: http://fluxbb.org/docs/v1.5/variables

Re: [MOD] Avatar choice

Well, they are not really meant to be globals, they just are. I would love it if they weren't. And we won't have such things in 2.0. But until we do, we have to live with this legacy code. smile

I don't see any change between your 2 code snippets...

This is based on FluxBB native source code.

Re: [MOD] Avatar choice

Oh, I see. Your right. I don't use the $width variable later in the script, so it shouldn't be a poblem for now.
Thanks.
