email advice re topic

Hi there,
I might have missed it - but can't see an option to advise when a Post is answered here?
Also an option like capture, but easier on the eyes!  E.G.  "What is 5-3?" type.

Cheers!

Huh? You can subscribe to topics to get notified of new replies (via email).

Regarding your other question: check out this modification, for example.

Hi Franz,
Thanks for the reply.
It seems that the reply notice option may only happen on a "full" reply? (Like I did now - it wasn't on the quicl reply option.)

Cheers!

Indeed. The quick reply field is only meant for short immediate replies.

We don't want to clutter that part of the interface.

Either I don't understand your problem, or you did not see the "Subscripe to this topic" link between "Post reply" link and the "Quick post" form ...
Perhaps didn't you subscribe to the topic ?

[Edit]
The notification is never sent if :
- You are logged and your session_cookie hasn't been updated (no action from you since last post in the subscribed topic)
- You answer to the topic
The notification is sent only on the first answer while you are not logged

I hope my english is good enough for you to understand (I'm French) smile
