Default Emotes

Hello There,

I was looking for some information regarding the default emotes that might be in the core of fluxbb.  I noticed some information on the Wiki, but none of those emotes work on my site except for 1.  I do have emotes enabled.

smile

Can someone provide a list of working emotes?  Thanks!

Kind regards,
Saxamo

Re: Default Emotes

Use :
http://fluxbb.org/resources/mods/fluxtoolbar/
or
http://fluxbb.org/resources/mods/ezbbc-toolbar/
And you will have a qucik access to all emotes.
Or you can also use emotes that will be in v 2.0

Re: Default Emotes

Thanks for all the resources.. I appreciate that.  However, I still just need a list of the current core emotes. What I am looking for is the text version of what will create the image

If these all show up as images then I know there is something up at my site.  I just need the text or to know where the code list is for the images

Re: Default Emotes

Install the last plugin and you will see the full list. You can uninstall it later if you want...

Re: Default Emotes

@TRACE- Will this http://fluxbb.org/resources/mods/fluxsm … ses/2.2.0/ work with the mod installer? and your directions only state upgrading from version 2, but not 1.5, also it says it is outdated and to look for version 2.3, coming soon.

If you can get this to work with the mod installer ( I feel better about this from a maintenance aspect ) I will install it.  I would really like to install it too, since your icons are clear and crisp.  I have no idea what that other person is talking about when they say they were blurry.

Thanks!

Re: Default Emotes

It's not my MOD.
To install it just upload the files into "plugins" folders and install it via ACP. No files edit! smile

Re: Default Emotes

works really well.. thanks.. I did add it and kept the old icons.  It took me awhile to add the tables to the rules for people to see

once the forums are embedded it will look a lot better.. lol

Thanks again!

This mod has its own installer, just an easy install/remove button. You can also read the documentation of this mod here: FluxSmpile Guide or the website of it FluxSmile. And yes, I'm the developer, and no, I don't have any plans to let it work with Mod Installer.

By the way, version 2.2 isn't outdated, it says that I'm working on version 2.3. If I release 2.3, I also announce 2.4 (actually, that version is already announced, together with 2.5 and 2.6). You can just use it, there are no problems with the plug-in as far as a know (you can always warn me if there is one).

With that last one, I think you reference to 123? He just wanted bigger emoticons that he suggested.

Re: Default Emotes

I have not tried it yet.. and this install was super easy.. you do have to follow the directions though.  If you don't run the script you get a fetch error.  Once you run the script it all works well.  I will consider this new mod for the future, but right now all has been great.

I do want to start working in this field.  I have been working with html, php, xhtml, html 5 ( recent ) for years on and off.  However, I want to become part of the community.  I would really like to be instructed/directed on how I can achieve a role in this community.  I have loved this community in the shadows for years and now I have the time to really delve into it.

Thanks!
