Re: Welcome to our new website :)
First, we're moving to Git
Too bad, Git is a pain in the ass to use on Windows.
Oh there's a TortoiseGit. Oh but it won't work, you'll have to manually install msysgit which is a fork so don't know about native compatibility. Be crazy, let's install it anyway. Oh, it won't, because this poor fellow doesn't like having cygwin in the shell Path. And no solution to that. I frankly doesn't know why it would care about a shell path, since Tortoise need to be manually told where msysgit is, but...
That's 30 minutes of my life I'll never get back.
And if Trac offered a way to directly download the package you want (choose a rev, click the zip link, done) Gitorious doesn't seem to offer anything.
So, no trunk download.

Ah, don't be so harsh ![]()
Have you tried SmartGit (it's faster using msysgit - which has worked for me -, but works with Cygwin, too? The interface is really nice.

Yes, you can - especially since branching and tagging will be organized differently. That means you will be able to download any branch (thus, trunk, too) without a problem. Take the Gitorious project as an example: http://gitorious.org/gitorious/mainline/trees/master
On the right-hand side, you can choose "Download master as tar.gz". Isn't that what you wanted?

On which you have to have Perl installed, or does the client not require it?

Re: Welcome to our new website :)
Btw, are the breadcrumb, (I really hate that term), navlinks meant to be so large, at the top of the page? They look well out of proportion, size wise.

Thats because the current markup doesn't have main headings so I used the breadrcrumbs as headings.

I always have the same error. It maybe comes from my pseudo with the special character "ç" ?

Re: Welcome to our new website :)
Yeah that was the problem. Fixed this time I think though
Just for the record, what I thought was a bug in Dokuwiki doesn't seem to have been the issue (I'm not quite sure why it works but okay), the issue was in the integration script, which we had copied from the old site basically (which expected data from FluxBB to be ISO-8859-1 not UTF-8).

Either you're right or the server load code doesn't work:

Re: Welcome to our new website :)
The site integration only works for Air (if you switch to another style, the top bar, etc disappear)
Fixed now (except for the rounded corner backgrounds in Earth and Fire, but I don't know if that's worth fixing, especially as the other styles don't really match with the site).

Don't bother fixing anything at the moment. I have the final stylesheets to commit as soon as I get Git working.

Re: Welcome to our new website :)
Only things that make me sorta iffy is header and footer areas. The content is great design wise and for accessibility.
Here's what I feel would help the header and footer: http://www.lyrobot.com/view.php?action= … _key=xee6r
The logo is sketchy, but maybe removing the icon would be the better thing. The icon still stays as a symbol in both favicon and possibly graphical texturing or what not. But it seems like a bit too much there in the header.

I assume Paul is still working on the header.
And as asked, I've given a suggestion ![]()
It looks great in a potential sense and usable way, just those suggestions (by my opinion) will help make the design be strong, referencing current colors (red isn't used anywhere else and thus can be a little off), and the gradient use in the logo is starting to be a little gimmicky.
Good to keep it simple and spice things only for difference and depth, specifically to make the fluxbb philosophy.
Also, a little off, but although I like Air, maybe some relooking can be done in places with unnecessary whitespace. An example is the header: I understand some can be for design reasons like the menu, but try to keep accessibility in mind and specifically reduce the height of the header.
Over all, I love the work done in the content areas and general new flow of the site, though forums and community tabs should be looked at. I know community gives all interaction options and forums is strictly the forums, but seems like another solution can be done to remove the forums tab or somehow combine them.
