1.4 rc moderator status appearing

I have just appointed one of my forum members to Mod status.

It now appears under each forum that (Moderated by xxxxxxxxxx).  Not what i was expecting to happen.

I still want the member to be a moderator but for this status to NOT appear.

How?

A more realistic post title now!  Oops!

You can hide it in your stylesheet.

I think we should add an option to hide these in a future version, since a lot of people (including some developers) have been annoyed by this for quite some time.

P.S.: Please use a more descriptive topic title.

Re: 1.4 rc moderator status appearing

I think the option to hide is underkill.  Personally I think it comes into the category of pointless information and is ripe for deletion.  The info could simply be included in userlist somewhere where anybody desperate for the information could find it. But thats for future version.

The only thing worse than finding a bug is knowing I created it in the first place.
