"New Posts" displaying even after viewing the topic
Why is this happening? Even after I view a Topic that says [New Posts] , the [New Posts] text still appears. Where is this functionality controlled? Also, how can I change the text of the [New Posts] display? It's currently bold, and I'd like to un-bold it. Thanks in advance.

That's because of the way this is handled in v1.2. Those boxes and texts are updated after, I believe, 15 minutes. To enjoy this functionality like on this board, you should update to v1.4.
About the style issue: If you know CSS, I suggest you take a look at the stylesheets.

How easy is it to upgrade? Will all of the forum content remain in tact? Is there anyway to get rid of the "New Posts" messages all together?
