FluxBB 1.3 - Will download not do damage in the future?
I'm under the understanding that 1.3 has been discontinued, which also means no security updates will be applied.
Now that said... would it not make sense to remove the download because in the future someone will find a flaw (they always do), then publish it. All FluxBB 1.3 forums will be at a security risk. "Doing a search on Google 7 out of the 10 FluxBB forums I checked was running 1.3."
Fair enough I might be reading into this too much... but if a flaw is released and attacks many forums the negative feedback to fluxbb will be unrepairable.
Just a thought...

Is the "FluxBB v1.3-legacy" link from the front page staying?

Not in the long term, we're currently in the process of creating a new homepage (actually the homepage part is kinda finished, lie2815 is currently working on the mod repository for it though), which won't have the 1.3 link on it.

Is the mod repository going to be for 1.4 mods only? plus is it going to be only official mod repository to start with?

It has sections for mods, plugins, styles and language packs. Each section can be filtered by version (either 1.2 or 1.4). It will be for anyone to upload to, but submissions require verification by us before they are shown.
