Well, the problem seems to be that image hotlinking IS disabled and I don't want that, at least not for my domain.

I have CPanel, but didn't find any option. I contacted the hoster via forum, email and ticket system, but didn't get any answer.

If its a free host they probably enforced disabling hotlinking on purpose.
