Use as a Project Management Tool

The other day I looked at ProjectPier. (And by the way, I highly recommend you install either the goCollab or Marine themes with it because otherwise the default theme is a huge turnoff.) And it dawned on me that one could perhaps make its Messages tab link to a FluxBB forum instead. Then, one could hook the Overview page of a project to show these things instead of pulling from Messages.

But then it dawned on me that perhaps one could start with FluxBB, and then tack on something analogous to ProjectPier's Overview, Tasks, and Files and *kapoof* you have a PM tool that's a lot sexier than ProjectPier.

Has anyone tried either of these options?

Huh? You're not making any sense. What is - . =!   and the context of Google translation?

Re: Use as a Project Management Tool

Did you know that the PM acronym stands for Project Management? Have you ever visited and installed ProjectPier from ProjectPier.org? Have you ever considered either extending FluxBB into becoming a PM tool, or making it fit inside the Messages tab of ProjectPier? That's what I'm talking about.

Re: Use as a Project Management Tool

In the forum world the acronym PM stands for "Private messaging" and is an oft requested feature which could explain the confusion.  I hope you don't object but I've edited the topic title.

The only thing worse than finding a bug is knowing I created it in the first place.

Ahaha! You are so right. I guess it's because I was posting it early in the morning.
