Signature length notification

Just wondering if we could any chance have a "Signature length notification".

Basically if you put over 400 characters in the sig it tells you that its over the limit, the problem is that it dont tell you how much your over the limit.

Instead of this:
Signatures cannot be longer than 400 characters.

Have this:
Signature submitted is 412 characters.
Signatures cannot be longer than 400 characters.

Also is it meant to be signature instead of signatures. Unless I had 2 signatures of course

"You are 12 characters over the character limit (400) for signatures."

That way, it's all on one line.

Not 1.4.0, but sounds like a good usability improvement for 1.4.1.
