Kinda new to PHP

Hi,
Thinking of trying...!"#!"¤ to start learning some PHP basics.

First project out will probably be a small webpage where people could put stuff for sale.
Like one add page and one list the items page.

Any good tips/hints except php.org smile with good starterguides?

Re: Kinda new to PHP

That's php.net, btw. big_smile Honestly, the best way I found was to study the code, use the php.net site and asking on here when you get stuck. The devs and users here are extremely helpful when you run into any coding problems. smile Google can also be of use, though the first three suggestions are your main way forward, in my opinion.

Re: Kinda new to PHP

I can recommend starting with a shoutbox or guestbook as first project.

Re: Kinda new to PHP

Websites like W3Schools may help you too. The way I see W3Schools is sort of like PHP.net, but for beginners. smile
