Re: Supporting FluxBB

We should create some German wiki pages here, too...

Re: Supporting FluxBB

No Chinese?

Before January 24th, you'll see why FluxBB 1.2 won't be like "FluxBB 1.2."

Agreed wink

FluxBB, the PunBB of tomorrow - today!

Re: Supporting FluxBB

Whenever I will do the wikipedia thing, I will start translating the extension one...

Re: Supporting FluxBB

Maybe someone should create a wiki page with "First steps after installation"...

Re: Supporting FluxBB

Created.

FluxBB, the PunBB of tomorrow - today!

Re: Supporting FluxBB

IMO an empty page with no contents is less use than there being no page since it implies there is contents there. It would be better to add the link though not the article, that way the wiki will mark it as a red link to indicate it is missing the contents.

Re: Supporting FluxBB

You're right, I apologize hmm

Re: Supporting FluxBB

I just started translating the functions reference into german. I also created the German wikipedia entry for FluxBB this morning... The only thing that is missing is the history section... yet

Re: Supporting FluxBB

Aye was in checking how it was going with punbb 1.3

Saw that I had missed out on alot of new stuff... have been stuck now a couple of hours reading.

Transfering the punbb 1.3 RC that I had installed to FluxBB.

Great job guys.
I highly appreciate this software.

Re: Supporting FluxBB

After setting up FluxBB on ohloh.net it might be an idea to take advantage of some of their widgets here on the fluxbb.org site / forums.

They have small widgets that show the value of the project, clickable buttons to say "I use this" which add to a user count and others that might help promote this project smile

Re: Supporting FluxBB

You cannot copy this website, it is not open source, only the forum is.

The FluxBB forum software, not the forum content wink

Re: Supporting FluxBB

Connor, Could you to tender me any engine for site? I will also look for eligible engine himself...

Re: Supporting FluxBB

Rohan: There is no "engine." This is custom written code. There are no official international sites at the moment. And when there are, we won't be giving out our front page code: we'll be assigning each language a subdomain and going from there.

Re: Supporting FluxBB

Someone marked the English Wikipedia article for deletion: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FluxBB

Re: Supporting FluxBB

then it needs to be sorted. from what i see they need one of the devs? to publish t he artical, or the picture in the artical needs to be an offical one.

Also added support and common problems to wiki.. still working on them so dont translate yet. thanks

I just removed the deletion message and explained this with a comment in the history. Hope this is enough...

The guy who marked the article is on vacation anyway. Is this a common behaviour on wikipedia to propose an article for deletion within 5 days and then go on vacation?

Wikipedia sucks, their form of moderation leaves a lot to be desired. When I launched PHPXref, I went into some pages to add my site as a good reference for PHP apps. I think I changed like 5 pages, adding my link under other resource sites that had been there. A few days later, the links were gone. I went into the discussion on one of the pages and this idiot moderator called my site questionable because I had ads on my front page, never bothering to peruse the site to see what it was about.
