Have you considered using a distributed version control system like Bazaar or Darcs? (There are Trac plugins for both.) I used to use SVN, but recently I've been using DVCSes and I'm liking that style a lot more.
I'm posting on FORUMS!
I personally haven't looked at either, SVN works well for us I think, but I'm interested in having a look at them when I get chance ![]()
Hmm, interesting. I may test one of those out in the future. ![]()
But yeah, at this point there isn't any huge reason to change version control systems as far as I can see. In the future it might be something to consider.
SVN and Trac do the job fine if you ask me. Its something to worry about later not anytime soon.
Anonymous users can submit tickets in TRAC, you may want to disable it if bugs are to be reported on the dedicated forum
There is no need to use trac wiki as fluxxbb has its own documentation wiki, but i think the front page should be edited.
Like, a brief description of the project trac and a clear note pointing to the oficial wiki.
As for distributed version control systems, being fluxbb a project maintained by 4 or 5 people that keep intense contact, I don't see any advantage on a distributed system.
