It is incomplete, all the added features need checking to see if they have been fully implemented, and any features that haven't been added but should be need adding.

Connor

No, when we remove the beta from 1.3 beta

#4 Re: Core development » Reporting topics » 2009-02-04 15:54:30

Connor

I think just discarding them is a bad idea, there might be different reasons for the reports, or the forum might not be using reports as reports.

We have enough things to worry about with 1.4 right now tongue

#5 Re: Core development » Reporting topics » 2009-02-04 15:30:57

Connor

Unimportant for 1.3, in future possibly a good idea though, maybe instead of not allowing them to report it the reports page could group reports by post?

#6 Re: Core development » Old hotfixes still shown » 2009-02-04 15:28:55

Connor

That'll be fixed when we change the version number.

I've added the permissions, the topic looks good, tell me when you want me to move it.

Probably a stupid suggestion, but why don't you just rename 1.3 to 2.0 alpha 0 or 1?

Because 2.0 will not be simply a continuation of the 1.3 development.

Connor

Probably hold off the bugs for now, I think what needs to happen is someone needs to look through the code for missing/incomplete features (anyone is welcome to start doing that), then once we have a list of them you can start looking for unrelated bugs.

#10 Re: Core development » The Wiki » 2009-02-03 15:01:29

Connor

if you want to make a blog post, you can post it in this forum and if its OK i'll move it, I'll give all fluxbb team rights to move stuff on the wiki.

#12 Re: Core development » Search results order » 2009-02-03 14:56:37

Connor

Ignore it, we aren't looking to complete 1.3, just make it usable.

#13 Re: Core development » Couple SVN changes » 2009-01-29 02:05:49

Connor

Go for adding 1.4 to the SVN, I'm also a bit busy right now, hopefully I'll have some time this weekend.

As for updating the site, could you leave that to me, this forum is currently slightly edited for some of the internationalisation stuff, I need to tidy that up first.

First compression: Removing white space, comments ect.
Second compression: By server.

That doesn't mean it'll be a lot smaller by doing both, if your server compresses files it probably deals with whitespace quite well.

The whole point of a table of contents is to list the contents.

#16 Re: Core development » The Wiki » 2009-01-23 16:53:03

Connor

I think it needs to be more specific than "user information" and "dev information"

#17 Re: FluxBB discussion » multiple includes » 2009-01-22 16:32:05

Connor

Basically, you shouldn't be including index.php, it outputs full pages. What are you actually trying to do?

#18 Re: FluxBB discussion » Skip to forum content » 2009-01-21 15:23:54

Connor

Paul is on it, no need to continue with this.

#19 Re: Core development » Changeset 880 » 2009-01-21 13:13:59

Connor

You can't have a <form> in a <p>.

You need to output valid markup and you also need to test it. You also have used spaces instead of tabs.

#20 Re: Core development » Reporting style error » 2009-01-21 13:11:25

Connor

This was one of the first things we fixed, if you want to look for bugs you need to look at the latest revision.

#21 Re: Show off » OxygenB » 2009-01-21 13:09:12

Connor

Is it really worth it xable, css files are generally cached.

#23 Re: Core development » The Wiki » 2009-01-21 11:11:50

Connor

Ahh, its because you are now in a new usergroup, should be fixed.

This broke the site, when you commit code you need to test it, and if it doesn't work either fix it, revert it or ask someone for help.

Anyone can create and edit pages, I just tested it, is the edit/create page button not showing for you? or are you getting an error message?

Is anyone else having problems?
