Hi,

I don't think there's going to be any sub-forum feature at all.

Thanks.

Hi,

The factors which i have noticed are:

1. Very less use of images.
2. Complete CSS based.
3. Less use of queries
4. Minimal template system.

Thanks.

Hi,

No its still fast due to some other reason. If you take a very basic app. then even that is slow compared to FluxBB etc. It is the coding i suspect which makes it faster. I would like to know how can I develope apps. using the same system as FluxBB..?

Thanks.

Hi,

Have you tried WinSyntax ? Its quite addictive. The bad thing is that the author has stopped building it but still its working awesome im Vista. Has syntax highlighting, very fast and light (just like FluxBB) and supports F1 help on keywords of php.

Thanks.

Hi,

I am wondering why FluxBB is so fast ? Is it becuase it uses CSS etc. or becuase of special coding ?

Thanks.

Hi,

This is what happens with all free stuff, now Smarty's has left and eventually Paul and Kris will also leave and then one day FluxBB will also die. This is sad but true. phpBB was almost going to die until it was taken over by some company. Oh well, hope all gets okay. Best of luck Smarty.

Thanks.

Hi,

This works like a chram:
http://www.punres.org/viewtopic.php?id=1850

Incase you don't want the users to ge banned for spamming you can comment out the code which bans the user. This is running good. The spammy posts are not displayed until you mark them as un-spam and the user also not gets banned.

Hope it helps.

Thanks.

Okay it seems to be working now. Is there some way that I get notified of "every new topic submitted" by email ?

Thanks.
