You could download http://fluxbb.org/downloads/ legacy 1.3, but it's not supported anymore.
You should wait tomorow when 1.4 comes out or in 1-2 years when fluxbb 2.0 comes out.
I'm guessing he already has the legacy and his question is based on that.

I have access and did clean it up once.
I need to talk to him about moving it from his shared hosting to my own server which will give me more control over it. I will speak to him again in the next day or two.

I missed a great thread here. 
Here is what I think... take it as you will.
2. I have no problem with 'Get FluxBB', unless the 'Download FluxBB v1.*' links direct to the same place. If so it would make more sense to call it 'Download FluxBB'. It's only 5 more characters 
3. addons is better than resources.
4. Forum link should be prominent.

I will speak to him about getting the Stats/Style part either removed or updated. Probably removed.
Who's maintaining punres these days? The Boards Stats module and style previews have not been working for more than a
month now. I tried to contact Kristoffer and StevenBullen about this but got no response.
No one is maintaining it, if any problems occur then I can chase up Kristoffer.
Why did you not just raise a topic on PunRes as I check it every other day? Plus I just tested my blog contact button and that worked fine, also mailed myself on PunRes and that worked fine. So not sure how your message did not get to me.
Another thing: Why doesn't the fluxbb site make mention of punres anywhere? The mods over there are compatible with fluxbb 1.2 after all.
Compatible, yes. Good Quality, not all of them.

True, but I didn't create the Thesis theme and this particular theme came with no wordpress link.
I have a new theme built on the 960 Grid System which has the appropiate appreciation links at the bottom, so it will be changing soon.

If you request help from here then it would be nice to leave the 'Powered by' on the footer. It's not a legal requirement to do it though.

Anyone checked this out? Basically monopoly mixed with google maps. You can buy nearly any street in the world and then build on it. Clever idea but needs some work.
I currently own the whole village where I grew up except for one street. Plus the game is only going to be 4 months long. Not sure what happens after that.
EDIT: Be warned, it's slow as f....!

It proves my point about the Pun devs visiting these forums frequently too.
It's a shame they have the time to check out these forums but don't have the time to clear up their own.

The script will update from 1.2.* as well, but you cannot go from 1.3 > 1.2.*
I only mentioned 1.3 because that's what you currently run.

It has sections for mods, plugins, styles and language packs. Each section can be filtered by version (either 1.2 or 1.4). It will be for anyone to upload to, but submissions require verification by us before they are shown.

Not in the long term, we're currently in the process of creating a new homepage (actually the homepage part is kinda finished, lie2815 is currently working on the mod repository for it though), which won't have the 1.3 link on it.

I do hope that Rickard occasionaly kicks himself for selling to such an incompetent company.
If I created PunBB I would understand selling it to someone for money (we all would), but that dont mean I would not put a lot of effort to make sure the new owners have the same passion and understanding. 
Anyway that's all history.
FluxBB is the future! PunBB will be nothing in the long term!

Remember it's not passion running that place it's business. They wont pay anyone to look after the forums out of hours and the people who work on them only probably care 9 - 5.
Maybe one day they will figure out that business model approach does not work AT ALL on open source model!
Old threads dug up by some spammer to inject links via his/her comment or via their signatures. What troubles me is that these posts hang around for a while, like nobody is paying attention at certain times during the day.
Agree completely. Im actually a moderator over at PunBB because I was getting annoyed with all the spam in sigs. I have made them make some changes as they was getting 180 users sign up daily for spamming links in their sigs.
Once I make the switch to FluxBB 1.4, I'll remove the link to PunBB from my bookmarks, it's getting a bit painful to visit them.
I dont give a shit about PunBB 1.3.* but I will help out the PunBB 1.2.* users on the board.

Well Chrome uses a blacklist, which I assume takes a bit to update (if it even bothers to recheck sites).
Yeah but would that blacklist be cached? because my Chrome does not mention malware.
I will mention it to jansson next time I speak to him, maybe he can get google to re-check it on request.
