I finally took the time to merge (public site local and administration local) the available languages I host on my Gmail Code account : http://code.google.com/p/jojaba-code/
French language have been updated and should be tested (I did'nt translate for the moment the timezone strings). German and Brazilian languages are updated but some strings should be translated. See the following informations to have a look to it :

svn checkout (feel free to download what you want to get)
What still should be translated (on German and Brazilian packages)
Download of the French Package (based on rev 1479) for testing

Just added a fallback to the mod. If the user language has no admin translation it falls back to the board default language and if that has no admin translation it falls back to English. By editing a line in common_admin.php the admin language can be set manually.

Because thats the way the original designer decided to do it. Why is lost in the mists of time.

Only by updating regularly prior to 1.4 being released. Once 1.4 is released then updates to admin are likely to be rare in which case it won't be much of a job for the mod maintainers to keep it up-to-date.

Now updated to r1355. Just core files, no language strings.

I will update the Brazilian, German and French langugae files as soon as possible (I just updated the lang files for the frontend)

Updated your repository to FluxBB r1350. Also added the accelerators to the language file and put the links in the langague file to deal with localised versions of the project sites.
