Can't wait! I've been a forum admin of a very large ProBoards forum for 5 years now, and thought this time this has been an idea I've never been able to realise.

I eagerly await the release of 2.0.

Do you have a GitHub account? If so, we can give you push access to our official language repository.

If not, please download the current version. In the directory lang/English you will find the current English language pack. Copy that folder and translate all files therein to Portuguese. The format of most of these are PHP files, with the array values (not the keys!) needing to be translated.

Note: in the repository, there is already a "Brazilian Portuguese" language pack. I don't know how similar they are, but maybe that makes the work a little simpler (and less) for you.

P.S.: PO files are coming in FluxBB v2.0.

Though, last when I tried it was a lot of problems. I got lot of modifications installed there. Some time ago I wanted to do the upgrade and start all over again. I need to start thinking about it again, but I have little patience for this...

Simple Anti-Spam Redux

The mod was working fine for over a year since publication, but recently (specifically, early January) I saw explosion of spam registrations (which were mostly absent before). I suspected DB hack, and changed password, but that didn’t help. So, temporarily I suspended registrations and even postings.

Could they target the mod itself and read answers off of sas.php? But then again, it should be protected and give them 403 code, innit? Since I used arithmetical questions, did bots use calculator? Did anyone else using this experience any significant issues like that?

No, it wouldn't. If you disable the feature, none of the queries related to that feature are executed. By removing the code, at best you'd remove a couple if statements: that's not going to change the performance of your site by more than a negligible amount.

Wow, I really need to get more familiar with each FluxBB file. Of course it was as simple as an if statement that checks user posts versus a set integer. I think I might integrate this into the "BB Spam Fighter" mod.

this translation was complete even before my was complete, but it was started and completed quickly, while my was 75% complete . i was translating in forum hoping other users will participate... i had said i will modify it to standard, "canonical" punbb 1.2 and then attach to download and write links, but i somehow did not do that and then had lost the files that was sent to me by tatar16. now, while we have been(?) talking about that, he has attached that.

Looking for a flag mod?

Thanks! JOINs are said to be the most difficult operations in SQL and they seem a little confusing to me. I first tried to add something like you suggested to the line you posted, but I only guessed what could that be and went repeatedly wrong I'll try those tomorrow perhaps.
