FluxBB version 1.4
Development is proceeding at a pace with a view to an early release of FluxBB v1.4. This is a major rewrite of the existing code base. Some of the most notable improvements and enhancements are:
- Improve unread topic tracking
- Split/merge topics
- UTF-8 support
- Daylight savings support
- IPv6 support
- SSL support for SMTP
- Date/time/number formatting option for users
- Group permission for viewing userlist/profiles
- Allow for multiple moderator groups
- More per-group controls
- Changes and enhancements to the dblayer
The current development release is FluxBB v1.4-rc1. You can keep up to date with the detailed progress by viewing the trac timeline.
The success of the project depends a great deal on user feedback so don't feel shy about making suggestions or comments in the forums.
